What Does an AACat Do?
AACats are VIPs who get to enjoy the Festival with their humans and help visitors learn what it’s like to live with an adventure cat.
At a scheduled time, your human will join other AACat humans for approximately 15 minutes to answer questions from Festival visitors. Cat participation is always your choice — if you’ve had enough, you can be under the table, or in our Cat Check area

AACat Requirements
To participate, your human must:
• Email us a photo of the AACat, and agree we may post it.
• Email proof of vaccination in advance showing current Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.
• Check in before entering the Festival. *Every AACat must receive a physical health check at the AACat Check-In. Cats showing signs of illness, parasites, or other health concerns may not be permitted to enter.
• Arrive at your assigned time and attend your scheduled AACat session.
• Stay within the Calgary Cat Festival & Market rooms while onsite.
 
If your human needs to leave the Festival area to use the washroom or visit another part of the building, you may relax in our designated AACat Cat Check Area until your human returns.
Your Cat Comes First 
We want AACats to have fun! If your cat becomes stressed, overwhelmed, or simply decides they’ve had enough, their comfort comes first.

The ONLY cats that will be allowed on site are PRE-REGISTERED Alberta Adventure Cats.  Others will be turned away.  And yes, all AACats MUST BE FELINE.  Other animal types are not permitted.
