Accessibility & Inclusion at the Calgary Cat Festival & Market

Wheelchair & Mobility Accessibility

The Calgary Cat Festival & Market takes place at Contemporary Calgary, which is wheelchair accessible.

If you have specific accessibility needs or questions before your visit, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

Sensory Considerations

The Festival can be a busy, exciting, and sometimes loud and crowded environment. If you are easily overstimulated or sensitive to noise and crowds, we recommend visiting first thing in the morning, when the show is generally at its quietest.

Early to mid-afternoon tends to be our busiest and loudest time.

Need a break? No problem! You may ask Festival staff for a hand stamp before stepping outside. This will allow you to leave the venue for some fresh air or quiet time and return to the Festival after your break.

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all guests, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on gender, race, identity, disability, or any other personal characteristic is not welcome.

If you experience or witness an accessibility challenge, discrimination, harassment, or other concern during the Festival, please report it to Festival staff. We want to know about issues so we can respond and help make the Festival a positive experience for everyone.
